Easdowns Accountants & Advisers has created this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy.

• This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected by Easdowns Accountants & Advisers.

• An ethical clearance letter will be sent to your previous tax practitioner requesting documents relating to your tax and financial business;
• Your ABN or TFN will be used to collect further information from the Australian Taxation Office on the Tax Agent Portal;
• Your ACN or ABN may be used to collect further information from ASIC in relation to your company dealings;
• When you send Easdowns Accountants & Advisers an e-mail, we collect your email address and any subject matter;

 
What Happens If You Do Not Provide the Information?

If this information is not supplied, Easdowns Accountants & Advisers will not be able to successfully complete any tax or financial work required by the individual or business entitiy of whom have engaged their services.  

Why and How Does Easdowns Accountants & Advisers Collect The Information And How Is It Used?

• Easdowns Accountants & Advisers collects the Information to provide you with a specific service. For example, we may use the Information you provide us to complete your tax return, prepare financials, complete company changes.
• Easdowns Accountants & Advisers also uses the Information to send you information (either by e-mail or post) that you request. If at any time you receive material that you did not request or do not want to receive such material any more, see Correcting and Updating Your Profile below.

 
To Whom Does Easdowns Accountants & Advisers Disclose Your Personal Information?

• Easdowns Accountants & Advisers will not sell, rent, trade or otherwise supply to third parties any personal information obtained from you unless you consent.

• You may gain access to Information that Easdowns Accountants & Advisers has collected about you, by contacting the person named below. We will not charge you for responding to such a request, unless we incur costs in providing the information.

Complaints

You may make a complaint about Easdowns Accountants & Advisers handling of your personal information, or in relation to your dealings with us about your personal information, by contacting the person named below.

Easdowns Accountants & Advisers handles any complaints received by forwarding the issue to our Privacy Officer, Megan McGrath. A review of the complaint in relation to the privacy laws will be undertaken and a resolution introduced. Updates to policy will also ensue if the need arises.
